Start with a small collection and see whether the available allowance supports your work. Avoid upgrading only because a larger plan exists.
Evernote AI pricing needs two separate checks: whether a feature is available to your account and how much you can use it. Access to a feature does not mean unlimited use.
For the amount you will actually pay, open the official plan comparison, choose your billing cycle and review checkout. We could verify the plan structure, but the retrieved comparison did not provide a reliable public price quote. This page therefore does not invent a monthly or annual figure.
Evernote lists Free, Starter and Advanced alongside organization-oriented options. Its plan-change documentation explains the move from Personal and Professional to Starter and Advanced.
The following account limits were visible in the official comparison on October 31, 2026. These are notebook-service limits, not a table of AI message allowances.
| Account limit | Free | Starter | Advanced |
|---|---|---|---|
| Notes | 50 | 1,000 | Unlimited, subject to safeguards |
| Notebooks | 1 | 20 | Unlimited, subject to safeguards |
| Connected devices | 1 | 3 | Unlimited, subject to safeguards |
| Storage | 1 GB | 5 GB | Unlimited, subject to safeguards |
Verify them again before purchase, particularly when viewing a local or account-specific offer.
Evernote's help documentation says AI Assistant is available to users on version 11 and Semantic Search is available to all users. Its AI Edit guide also describes access for free accounts. This does not guarantee the same usage allowance for every plan or immediate availability on every installation.
If you only need to experiment, check the features visible in your account before paying. Use a short note to try one real task, then look for any usage notice.
Do not assume that an old article describing an AI add-on still represents the current offer. Read the plan page, the feature-specific allowance and your checkout summary together. If the screens disagree, ask Evernote support to clarify your account's entitlement before purchasing.
A single word such as “included” may describe access without promising unlimited processing. Note the difference when comparing plans.
Write down the full annual charge and the total cost of twelve monthly payments. If an annual plan is advertised as a monthly equivalent, remember that you may be charged for the year upfront.
Use this calculation:
Compare amounts in the same currency and with the same tax treatment. Also check whether a discount applies only to the first period and what the renewal amount will be.
Start with a small collection and see whether the available allowance supports your work. Avoid upgrading only because a larger plan exists.
Estimate how quickly your archive grows, how many devices you use and which tasks you repeat. A device or note limit may matter more than a particular AI feature.
Check recording length, transcription limits, supported file types and available usage. Test the exact workflow you need before choosing a longer commitment. Our meeting guide explains the recording process.
The official comparison describes a standard seven-day paid-plan trial unless a different offer is stated. Confirm the terms shown to you. Read the charge date and cancellation instructions before accepting.
If you subscribed through an app store, subscription management may take place there. Deleting an application should not be treated as subscription cancellation. Follow the cancellation route for your purchase channel.
No. Purchase and account management take place through official Evernote channels or the relevant app store.
